Pictorial Tribute (from Bill Driscoll)
From Jeanne Stern Laurie - My
heart hurts tonight – as Coker died tonight at 7:15 p.m.
He fought the good fight longer than most and was stronger than
most. He was a dear friend, although terribly ornery at
times. He acted tough, but was a marshmallow in the
middle. He didn’t let very many people know that though!
The world will be a little less bright without his presence here
– but a little brighter in Heaven for sure. At least I
know where to find him. For Christmas last year, I gave him a
plaque from Logos Book Store with two gold houses side by side.
The inscription read, “In my Father’s house are many mansions.
I hope mine is next to yours.” And I hope it is.
From Ric Martinez - Our prayers are
with his family.
I want to thank all of James
classmates for your kindness and special thoughtfullness in sending
the beautiful orange and white easel. I hope all of you know how
much it meant and how very much it was appreciated. Love,
