From Christian... 8/5/2008 - God is good....ALL THE TIME! Thank you for your continued support and prayers! They are working! It is so nice, now and then, to be able to actually leave the hospital for a day or so and to be able, to minister in the name of Jesus. Not only this, but the fellowship with the Body makes me feel tons better! Anything is better than laying around the clock in a hospital room! And this has been for 5 years now! So being able to attend this event, was such a blessing. And as you see, the other one coming, for the "new" (ha!) remember it came out last November 2007! But this is the first time that I think I will have the power to perform those songs, from a physical viewpoint. Having cancer in the throat is not a good thing for a singer! And of course it spreading to other areas. Yet, somehow, I am still here and I CONTINUE to believe that I will not leave this planet until the Lord gives the word! In the meantime, when I can and when I have the power, I will leave my "home" at the central hospital here, and go out in the name of Jesus, to share His Good News. |

Spouse_name: David (Snake). College_info: Motherhood! Family_info: My husband and I have two grown children; a son named Clay, 25, and a daughter named Casey, 22. My son is in management training at Wal*Mart and my daughter attends UNT. She previously attended SFA in Nacogdoches but decided to finish her degree in Communications at UNT. Neither are married, therefore, I have no grandchildren. I am looking forward to being a grandmother and hope it happens before we are too old to know what's going on! Job info: I was fortunate to have been able to be a stay-at-home Mom. My children are my biggest and greatest accomplishment and they continue to enhance my life. After my kids left their nest, I re-entered the work force and currently work part-time for Imperial Toy Corporation analyzing sales reports and serve as an Administrative Assistant. My husband and I also sell antique furniture, a "hobby" we picked up when my husband retired last year. We have a booth in the Antiqueland Mall in Plano and also sell on eBay. Our seller name is OurBarn...take a look...we'd love to do business! We comb the local auctions and occasionally travel to an auction house in Houston and pick up French and Italian pieces. We enjoy this part of our life--it's fun and challenging. Pursuits after retirement: Hobbies: Husband loves to hunt and fish...I love to shop and spend time with my girlfriends! Things Would Do Different: I'd have a lot more fun! Comments: I've gone to all of our reunions and had a great time. The older we get, the more fun they are. I look forward to seeing everyone again at the next one. |

Mike and his wife, Lori, live in Euless TX. He has 2 children, Michael age 22 & Sara age 19 both attending college and another child expected in October 2001. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in the Class of 1975, Mike has had a Career in Banking for about 25 years and currently the Project Director on a U.S. Department of Commerce project assisting new and established minority owned businesses obtain loans and contracts both from public and private sources. He has no plans for retirement, since he is having way too much fun in his daily pursuits...Any way, with two kids in college & one on the way, he says, "who can afford to retire???". Mike's hobbies are playing music, golf and traveling. His family is his greatest source of joy. As far as influence from NDHS, Mrs. Rix Ridley gave Mike his greatest challenges in history class and Mrs. Virginia Jones was his inspiration in English class. There were too many friends at North Dallas for him to list!!!! His experience with the "Misters" is right up there with major influences during his North Dallas days. If he had to repeat high school he would probably have studied a little.....a lot harder!!! He would take the time to know more of his classmates much better than he did.. They are all special to him now. | ||
