Family info: One son in Round Rock, TX and one daughter in Beaumont, TX. and 5 Grandchildren. Graduated from North Dallas and joined the Air Force, served in Germany and then returned home and enrolled in North Texas State College (North Texas University. After graduating, I started to work for the small company of Texas Instruments, which was located on Lemon Ave. at the time, worked for them until I retired in 1991 while working in Richardson. Wasn't a small company anymore!

After retirement: Am single now and enjoying lots of hobbies. I do a lot of "Trail Rides" to the Houston  Live Stock Show, play baseball, travel a lot, and ride motorcycles. I do not have a computer, but any of my friends can reach me through my sister, Barbara (Copeland) Wilson '45, at jbwilson@avci.net.

Chreene, Howard Jr. (Birddog) CHREENE, HOWARD JR. "BIRDDOG" , was born on September 18, 1929 in Dallas, TX and passed away on April 16, 2005 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard & Liddie Chreene; brother Raymond; son Howard III. He is survived by his wife Marie Chreene; son Tracy Chreene; daughter Karen Chreene; brothers Chester Chreene and wife cSaundra, Donald Chreene and wife Mary Jo; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brady Center, 4009 Elm Street, Dallas, TX 75226. 04/20/01 - Bettie and her husband Charles Stevens live in Lone Star TX and have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Since retirement, her husband is a Methodist minister, now in Lone Star but they will be moving in June. One of the NDHS influences on Bettie was from her best friend during high school years - Ada Jane Collinsworth, She and Ada married brothers. Ada passed away Dec. 1988.

Submitted by Mickey Herndon Arnette, Ray's daughter. Ray was married to Ann Brightly Herndon.  He died on Sept 28, 1962 along with wife in a car accident outside of Corsicana. His career was in the U.S. Navy.  His children are Michelle(45) "Mickey", Teri(43), Gilbert(42); grandchildren Tonya, Jason, Shelby-Grace & great grandchild Jacob. Ray had two brothers Thomas O. Herndon Jr (deceased) and Gilbert A. Herndon (living in Richardson, TX). Mickey is Ray's oldest daughter and she is looking for anyone who may have known him please contact her at granny43@juno.com

4/11/03 - Spouse name: Marilyn Beaver Rockholt. College info: SMU - 1952 Family info: Marilyn Beaver and I married in 1951 and will soon celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary.  We have two married sons who, with their wives, have presented us with four beautiful grand daughters.  The two families live in Lakeville, Minnesota about 40 minutes drive for us. Job info: My career with 3M Company - nearly 35 years - was fun and exciting.  We have lived in Dallas, New Orleans, White Bear Lake and San Antonio.  We have chosen White Bear Lake as our retirement home area. Pursuits after retirement: I have been pleasantly busy, having authored three books and now find myself happily in the manufacturing business making coin operated penny press machines which are sold world wide. We enjoy traveling and buying and selling antiques specializing in Czech perfume bottles and Moorcroft pottery. Hobbies: Marilyn and I enjoy traveling both in the good old USA as well as England, France and Italy. Things Would Do Different: It has been a great life and I would enjoy doing it all over again!
