College info: SMU Family info: Our 1st born, Carol, married Wm. F. Kaemmerer and their two sons are college age; Daniel at Stanford and Matthew at Carnegie Melon. Both boys play two instruments and enjoy technology. Our son, Kenneth, is an engineer with Fluor Corporation and has been working at Eli Lilly on the planning and construction of the expansion of their plant in Indianapolis.  Job Info: After a brief stay in the Navy I started my work career with Wyatt Food Stores in Dallas. I set up and managed their Data Processing department. The Kroger Stores, in Cincinnati, purchased Wyatt and I was transferred to their corporate headquarters to expand their data processing and computer activities. I was then recruited to do the same for the Lucky Stores in California where I retired as manager of Field Technical Services in 1992 After retirement: Creating custom stained glass windows is a hobby/business that has brought me and many others a great deal of pleasure. One of the most exciting projects was a recent reconstruction of a water damaged church in New Orleans, where I replaced 11 windows measuring 4 feet by 5 feet - 14 feet high in the sanctuary.  I participated in construction and support of a church in Santa Ana Mexico as a part of a group that was dedicated to missions. In addition I’ve gone on mission trips to Argentina, Guatemala and several locations in Mexico.  Hobbies: Making stained glass windows. See examples at the website http://acarrillo.home.att.net/  Creating websites for church and non profit groups. Managing retirement funds, Enjoying.the move back to Texas with Jeanne after the 23 years in the “Valley of the Sun”, Scottsdale, AZ. Influence: Arthur Harris, accounting. He was instrumental in launching me into the accounting and computer field. He presented the subject in such a way that I was convinced that I would enjoy it as a career, and I did. One of the highlights of my high school days was the thrill of racing under the direction of Coach Hayes. He trained us in the high and low hurdles and brought the team to the success of winning the only city track championship in the schools history. Coach Hayes helped me get a track scholarship at SMU. Things Different:  I would study more diligently and endeavor to retain more basic knowledge. Friends: I don’t know how I would have survived Algebra and Trig if it had not been for the help I got from Henry Mobley and Bobby Temple. One of my best friends from grade school (Sam Houston) was Billy Noble. We were locker mates through out high school. And then there was Edward Thiele. I have thought about Ed’s contribution in my life almost daily.
